Real Stories

The people of Wellington are in the very best of hands.

Monday, April 16, 2012
It was on Saturday 31 March 2012 I found myself in desperate need of Wellington Free Ambulance. I had a bad fall from my mountain bike in the Belmont Park Hill. It happened that the fall rendered me immobile (fractured pelvis, dislocated shoulder) and so it eventuated in calling on Westpac Heli Service. That said it was your service that was first on the scene. Now I never did get his last name but first name ‘Arthur’. At the accident scene and later on when he visited me in hospital ED I did thank him for his care and management of the situation. It was on the highest order methinks. And so to the WFA organisation I say thanks indeed. If Arthur epitomizes the standard of the service then the people of Wellington are in the very best of hands.

Yours in appreciation,

G Shepherd.
