A LifePak tells paramedics a person’s pulse, heart rate, cardiac rhythm and how much oxygen a person is getting.
By continually monitoring this, it tells us whether treatment is working, and whether the patient is getting better or worse. It helps us make the crucial decisions needed to save lives.
Geoff Procter, Executive Director of Healthcare Services, says “Lifepaks are so crucial to our paramedics everyday work”.
Richard Illingworth, The Master of Westminster Lodge says “we consider Wellington Free Ambulance of particular value to the community and deserving of donations to allow it to continue to provide a free service to those in need. The professional and outstanding care which the service provides, is well appreciated.”
