Dave Robinson has been appointed as the new Chief Executive at Wellington Free Ambulance

Dave has more than 20 years experience in community and public service, and is currently the Chief Executive of MASH Trust, an NGO that operates in the health sector providing mental health, addictions and disability support services.

Prior to this Dave was the Chief Operating Officer at Te Papa and has held senior management roles within the NZ Army and NZ Defence Force.

Dave has a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University, a MBA from Massey University, and in 2016 attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

“The team at Wellington Free Ambulance have been there for my family at some of our hardest moments, as it has for so many others in our region. It’s a privilege to be able to join a team of people who I have held in such high regard for so long,” Dave says.

It’s a very exciting time for Dave to be joining Wellington Free Ambulance, as we look towards our 100 years of service in the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa.

"We’re really looking forward to Dave coming on board and bringing his leadership experience and knowledge to our people and patients," Kerry says.

Dave will join the team on 28 June 2021.
