Our region

Wellington Free Ambulance is the only emergency ambulance service in the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa region.

Our region covers an area from Cook Strait in the south to just north of Waikanae around Peka Peka on the Kāpiti Coast.

In the Wairarapa, our area goes as far north as Mt Bruce. We cover 8,423 kilometres of the vast landscape of the Wairarapa region, free of charge.

We have 9 ambulance stations across our region.
