New Wairarapa Ambulance Station community open day

As the final touches are put on the brand new Wairarapa Ambulance Station we’re inviting the community who made it all possible for an exclusive look inside. Please join us for the community open day on Saturday 9 August and be among the first to see inside this state-of-the-art Station.

The much-anticipated Station is very nearly complete and nearing the final set up to make it a working ambulance station for all the Wairarapa. The walls are up, painting is well underway, landscaping has begun - now it's time to celebrate and show you what you made possible with your donations and support!

Bringing Wairarapa Ambulance Station to reality has truly been a community effort. From local businesses, grant makers, individuals making donations - the contributions have been impactful and humbling. We thank you all.

To acknowledge the fantastic support of Wairarapa communities, please join us on Saturday 9 August at our community open day for the first look at this brand new, purpose-built ambulance station.

As well as exploring the station, this whānau-friendly event gives you the chance to see inside an ambulance, to learn CPR and how to use an AED, and enjoy a free coffee cart and BBQ lunch!
