The most Onesie-ful time of the year - Onesie Appeal 2025

Greater Wellington and Wairarapa were Onesie-fied for Onesie Appeal 2025 (8 - 14 September)! From onesies and paramedics on giant posters, bus backs and bus shelters, and digital billboards to onesies on the streets, classrooms, cafes and workplaces, communities across Greater Wellington and Wairarapa came together to support their one and only emergency ambulance service.

280 Onesie-ful fundraisers took part in Onesie Appeal 2025, and although we’re busy finalising the total amount raised, it looks like we’ve smashed our $200,000 fundraising goal!

Thank you, Greater Wellington and Wairarapa for your support – we couldn’t have raised this without you.

Thank you for volunteering your time to collect on the streets.

Thank you for donning onesies at your schools, ECEs and workplaces and fundraising.

Thank you for so generously donating.

Thank you for sharing your kind words and stories with us on the streets.

Every action you took during Onesie Appeal 2025 made a difference.

Your Onesie-ful impact

Thanks to your support, our team, paramedics like Sian and Sam, have the ambulances, equipment, and resources they need to respond 24/7, 365 days a year. This means Wellington Free Ambulance remains free of charge to anyone in our community.

You’re helping us save and change lives, every single day, free of charge. The lives of people like Sarah, Rose, and Stu.

Thank you, Greater Wellington and Wairarapa.
