Welcoming back official Onesie Principal Partner for 2026 - Acton International Marketing and their brand Silk

In 2025, Acton International Marketing came on board as the Onesie Principal Partner and we’re delighted to share that Acton, and their brand Silk, are again the exclusive and official Onesie Principal Partner for 2026!

Silk is one of the hero brands of Acton, a Wellington-founded family-run company that has been in business for almost 50 years. Acton partners with leading international brands alongside their own brands to bring quality products to Kiwi consumers.

Father and son duo Ray and William Thomas have a long connection with Wellington Free Ambulance. They donated an ambulance in 2023 and again in 2025 and extended their support through the business by coming on board as Onesie Principal Partner for 2025 and 2026.

This year, Acton is getting involved with another aspect of Wellington Free’s services – The Lloyd Morrison Foundation Heartbeat CPR training programme. Staff will be learning potentially lifesaving CPR and AED skills, free of charge.

Acton is also embracing Onesie Day itself, hosting a Onesie Day at their office and even volunteering to be part of Street Appeal in Wellington!

“Silk is all about being there for families every step of the way – just like Wellington Free Ambulance. We’re proud to support a service that’s always there when people need it most. Partnering with the Onesie Appeal is our way of giving back to the community that’s supported us for decades,” explains William Thomas, Acton International Marketing.

The Annual Onesie Appeal is Wellington Free Ambulance flagship community fundraising event, held every September with the goal of raising $250,000 to help fund vital equipment and vehicles and keep the service free of charge.

“Having an iconic brand like Silk supporting Onesie as Principal Partner is fantastic. The values of Acton International Marketing are very similar to what we pride ourselves on at Wellington Free – honesty, integrity, putting people first. That’s why this partnership is such a natural collaboration,” says Claire Carruthers, General Manager of Fundraising and Communications and Community Programmes.

Thanks to the partnership with Silk, every donation made online from Monday 7 September at www.onesieday.co.nz will be doubled up to $50,000: how Onesie-ful is that!

A huge thank you and tēnā koe to Silk for their support.
